The Office of Economic Opportunity works to expand economic opportunity for Portland residents by connecting people, strengthening community leadership, and bringing organizations together to address barriers to participation and success.

Our initiatives support immigrants and multilingual communities, build pathways to leadership and professional growth, and help local organizations work more effectively together.

Our Programs

Our work is rooted in the belief that everyone should have the opportunity to participate in and contribute to Portland’s economic life. By building connections, supporting community-led solutions, and working across sectors, we aim to make those opportunities more accessible to everyone.
